Adding Garage to the cooling loop???

Gents, Short version of my situation is: New home. Humidity issues (SE Georgia). HVAC Consult is that the unit is oversized for the home (4 Ton when calcs indicate a 3 Ton is all that's needed) so it's somewhat short cycling, particularly when it's not super hot outside. I had the home...

New (Whole House) Garage Build Generator Connection not installed yet?

So it was in the electrical specifications that I have a generator input and interlock installed with the service and I've asked the project manager several times what the deal is as... I didn't see a wire pulled for it when the rough in was done. He recently says he thinks it's in the wall...

Harbor Freight watch band tool and hammer review

Needed to adjust Her watch band and HF has a pin pusher just for the job. Well made and worked well making the job super easy. I'd also been wanting a small non marring hammer so I saw this one in the same section. It's nicely made and did a good job of resetting the pins. Solid pass on both.

    Craftsman 4" vice minor review

This is about the only thing it's been good at so far..... They base will not tighten enough to give you a good stable platform. A needed a vice and nothing was showing up on CL so now I'm in that "shoulda just paid more up front" zone.

    Buggered Crank Threads....

So I'm replacing the timing cover gaskets on a 2001 Taurus (they leak... It's a thing..) and I think I buggered the first few threads where the harmonic balancer mounts. I usually clean all fasteners and test them and this one seems to be trying to cross thread and gets hung up. The bolt's...

Removing bolts in rusted exhaust flange

OK so I didn't even bother to try to turn them with a wrench so I cut them and now I can't get the remaining bolts out of the flange. Part of the problem is that the flange is loose so I can't get away good hammer strike on the bolts. I've tried heat and my next steps will be to soak them...

    Harbor Freight Motorcycle Lift Mod

So I bought the latest version of the HF 1000lb motorcycle lift and I'm pretty satisfied. I just bought a house and between those usual expenses and setting up the garage, there's just no budget for one of the nicer lifts. That said, I'm pleasantly surprised with how well this is going to...

Unlike what the section heading says.... I Shocked Myself (as wired box question)

I have your basic two (ha) car garage with two single bulb fixtures in the ceiling along with one outlet for the door opener. The lights are three way with a switch inside the door to the house and one just inside the man door into the garage. I was replacing the fixture farthest from the door...
