    Walden Starwheel ratchets

Digging through my Walden stash I came across these "Starwheel" ratchets. They were made in both 3/8" and 1/2" and compared to palm ratchets made today are larger and heavier.

Walden oblong drive tools and sockets

Some years ago I bought my first oblong drive Stevens Walden socket set and since have acquired more items. However Alloy Artifacts does not list these items and only mentions oblong drive as a failed system. I just bought more sockets and now have many questions. The first picture shows my...

    Cornwell stud remover extraction kit.

Picked up this item at an auction last Saturday. When I saw it I was not sure what it was, but figured it out after awhile. I got it when I bought a table cleanup for $3.00 which included it and other tools. I don't think anyone else knew anything about it. The Cornwell socket is patented...

I'm posting these in hopes of learning more about them. Alloy Artifacts has very little on this drive and no socket sets. Starting at the top, the drive tools are a breaker bar which also converts into a tee wrench by way of the of the little adapter (the box is incorrect). The second set in...

    Old as dirt

Couldn't find the introduction thread, so here goes. Probably will learn to navigate your site in time. Been a do it myself all my life, my first car was a 1930 Model A coupe--paid $10.00 for it. Kind of dates me. Live in the Ozarks out in the sticks and have a big shop---with...
