Large size 1/2" metric deep well set?

Bought a metric 1/2" deep well socket set from HF last year and have been very pleased with it other than it does not go past 19mm. Does anyone make a "large size" set that would go from 21mm to 27mm? I know I could piece it together, but figured maybe someone makes a set that would save $$$...

Craftsman 3 drawer tool box, worth $20?

https://lacrosse.craigslist.org/tls/6192455816.html Is this worth $20? Thinking it could be a good one to use as a portable one to keep in a vehicle. Thanks!

    Hand pruners?

(Asking this for my mom and dad) They need a new set of hand pruners...anyone have a favorite pair? Willing to pay for quality. Can't find anything at Menards but haven't checked anywhere else yet. USA made is a bonus. Thanks!

What can my air compressor do?

Picked one just like this off of CL a few years back for $150 or something with a hose and dryer. http://www.machinerymax.com/Event/LotDetails/5429447 (DeVilbiss Air America 5hp/20 gal) 7.1 CFM @ 90 PSI and 8.7 @ 40 PSI. I want to start getting more air tools but won't invest in them if this...

Matco green handle screw driver- w/o matco name

I was at a tool surplus store the other day and they had a bin of (allegedly) Matco screw drivers for $2/each. I'm stupid and forgot to take a pic. The handles were a medium to dark green and kind of had the shape of a hand grenade. The handles did not have the Matco name on them. I did a google...

China Cman vs USA, pics in here!

Picked up a China 3/8" flex head ratchet today for $15 on sale. (I prefer the handle shape of this one over HF). It actually feels nicer than a USA Cman one that I got back in 2012. Now- that's not really a hard standard to beat but it is an improvement and feels like a good tool. Here are...

Mechanix gloves- keep going or switch brands

Looking to get a new set of gloves. I have the original Mechanix ones, they're 7 years old. They finally started getting some holes and won't clean up anymore. Are they still a good choice? Or are there any newcomers that are worth trying?

Craftsman V flex head, or other?

Looking to get a 3/8" drive flex head ratchet. I can get a V series Craftsman ratchet for about $30. Would that be a solid one? Or would I be better off looking at something newer with less wear on it for a tighter flex head? Open to any suggestions really, probably under $50. Not hell bent on...

    Old Husky USA ratchet

Picked this up at a garage sale today for $2. Felt nice and USA made, I think it's a 60 tooth. I did some searching, it looks like New Britain/Blackhawk made these?

    Proto prototype

Thought maybe some people on here might find this ratchet interesting. My dad got it from Grainger when he worked there, from the Stanley rep. It was for linemen for the power companies hence the big selector. Not sure if it was ever put to production but according to the folklore it was built...

Age of this Cman socket set?

Just won these on eBay. I'm 19 and I think these could be about my age or older. Anyone have an idea? Just curious, I don't really care . Got them for about $30. Figured it was fair since they're USA, about the same price as Gearwrench or new China Craftsmans would be. Now just need to get...

Buying Gearwrench at a closeout retailer?

There's a shop near me that's a tool surplus store...sometimes they have neat stuff, sometimes not. They happen to have a set of Gearwrench ratcheting wrenches for $15. Tempting, but would I be SOL for warranty (since the store isn't a dealer)? I've read about 6 or 7 threads on here about it...

Craftsman V series 1/2" dr ratchet rebuild kit?

Hi, first time poster here. I have a 60s Craftsman V series ratchet that I can't find a rebuild kit for. It doesn't need one now, but I would like to have one or two on hand. It's from my grandpa and I would never swap it for a new one. (I don't use it now just for that reason) I've checked ebay...
