Any experience with Vevor’s 330lb Electric Scissor Lift Table?

Has anyone used this table to create a lift workbench for small engine work (mowers, snow blowers, etc.)? I wonder how sturdy it would be if you removed the wheels and added a bigger base along with a top by might be 3’x4’. If you have, share your experience and some pics of your table/usage...

Repaired - Ryobi 18V Hybrid Propane Garage Heater Model PCL801

So I repaired my Ryobi 18V Hybrid Propane Heater Model PCL801 (Pic1). I wanted to share the easy repair so it might help others: BACKGROUND I bought this used on eBay. It was listed as used but in tested working condition. When it arrived it was missing the propane hose. That is kind of a big...

I used a carpet cleaner on my garage floor – Good results!

So let me describe the setting first: I have a newer (~5 year old) home with the common 3 stall garage. A double stall garage that holds the 2 vehicles and the offset single stall that is my workshop (mainly mechanical, some wood). When we moved in I thought my garage floor was sealed with...

Propane Adapter? - Ryobi 18V Cordless Hybrid Forced Air Propane Heater

Does anyone know what type of propane adapter fits this heater? The connection is an odd one. Hoses from Ryobi are $75+. I thought the Blackstone Griddle hose/connection might work, but it is different. I think Ridgid had a similar heater, but it has the same connection.

Columbian 43 Vise Restore - How to bend main handle and swivel lock handle?

I have a Columbian vise #43 I am restoring. The main handle has a bend in it as does the swivel lock handle. I am thinking about picking up one of those 12 ton shop presses like Harbor Freight sells. I hate to do that and take up the floor space with a rarely used tool. Any other options...

However I wanted to share my observation that might be helpful. Background: I am a father of two adult children and...

Recommendation Needed - Pull out chest of drawers for nuts/bolts/misc

All, see example below. I need a chest of drawers I can pull out completely and put on a benchtop to search for small parts (nuts/bolts, etc.). It needs to be heavy duty (each drawer could be 10lbs). You know those perfect garages that have every nut and bolt in a little cubby easy to...

Propane Heater and Small Welding Cart Hack

I thought I would share my garage heater and small welding cart hack. So the challenge was making the setup and teardown of my Mr. Heater 30,000/60,000 BTU propane heater easier. It was always a bit of a pain to: 1. Haul out the heater 2. Haul out the propane tank 3. Get a wrench and connect...
