I am planning to frame with 2x6’s 16” o.c. and finish with drywall. My question is what does everyone do with the header? Is my only option nailing a 2x4 to all the posts to make it flush and move all of my outlets? Located in MI.

First post on here after reading quite a bit over the past few weeks. I am looking to add a garage with living space in it as well. Total sq ft of the floor has to be less than 1150 and the only way I talked the wife into this was giving her a "liveable" type space so I have a few ideas right...
