    Matco FTP500, who makes it?

I'm in the market for a new and comprehensive fuel pressure test kit. I already have some experience with the Matco kit, and am curious as to who the manufacturer is to try and save some sheckles, $700 is pretty steep. I know there's an Icon clone, with some reviews about it being leaky. Thanks...

Icon BJP1 clone, does anyone have hands on experience?

My OTC has warped, the Astro Goliath is still there but too big for some applications. Has anyone here got to play with the Icon ball joint press, and put it to hard use. Possibly looking at a community shop tool, the Schley/exclusively Matco the first year might be overkill for us but is also...

    New ads

They are invasive and cutting out whatever one might be listening to. Annoying. This only happened over the last few weeks.

Who made this air hammer bit?

Who makes or made this air hammer bit? It's use was for removal of inner exhaust pipe. It basically separated the inner, then you release it from the tool and use a 16mm to crank it clockwise, which causes it to collapse in on itself. It was made in the USA.... Thanks!

    Extra wide CV axle puller?

So I already have CTA 1040 and the OEM smaller version that attach to a slide hammer. My wife has a 2010 Scion tc where the CTA is just too small to fit behind. The space is tight and the angles are not good to get in with a pry bar thanks to the subframe, shape of the transmission, and another...

Ko-ken Zeal 1/4" drive sockets win

Had a 2001 Nissan Maxima with the driver's window stuck halfway. Customer attempted repair, and got out of the passenger side. Completely disadvantageous position. Motor dead. To get the glass off the regulator, Matco 1/4" long-locking flex, in green, with a Ko-ken zeal 10mm. Point is the Zeal...

    VAG 1332 Equivalent

I work on all makes and models, is there a breaker bar, or non-torque wrench model out there by someone of the same or similar design?

    Lisle 39000 pulley tool specs

So I ordered it, finally came in, and I go to assemble it and I come across this on the handle. Thread for the handle is a little banged up, anyone know the thread pitch off hand? I don't think it's metric.

Shop press "support boxes" for pressing out bigger hubs?

So, rarely do I have to press out a hub (hammer, socket, vise, and my inner rage usually works), but on occasion I do. This particular case was a 20 year old 2wd Tundra that needed wheel bearings. So after getting the locknut off the hub, that hub would not come out. The problem at the press was...

    New oil filter pliers

So, for the longest time I had craftsman oil filter pliers, lifetime warranty, worked well until the middle piece that dictates the jaw width would break. So every few years I would swap them out, no big deal. They most resembled this set by gearwrench. Well they finally broke, but current...

3/8" flex head ratchets, what's a stronger design?

I'm really looking for the daily users/pros on this. So snapon, matco, cornwell, and just about everyone else have the y or u shaped yoke for the head of the ratchet where the bolt goes through. Proto/mac is just the opposite where the ratchet head serves as the yoke for the handle. Any...

Best 3/8 drive PNEUMATiC compact impact wrench

As the thread title says, what is your experience with these? What holds up? I am partial to ir, but open to anything. My 1/2" is an ir2135 that I rebuilt a few years ago. I am a professional owning many brands but not completely loyal to one. My 3/8 drive air ratchet is a Campbell professional...

Looking for a new torque wrench

Hi there, I enjoy this forum and am interested in your opinions. So I'm looking for a new torque wrench, 1/2" drive, and a range from at least 20-250ft/lbs, it can go higher. I am in the Auto industry, so this will more than occasional usage. Yes, I know snap-on uses cdi, but I'm also interested...
