    Compressor pump knock.

    My freebie air compressor, Ingersoll rand T10 is making a gosh awful noise like a rod knock from the compressor pump. Is this normal for starting up? I got it for free because of the motor was toast. So I installed a H.F. 3 hp 220 motor and I am hearing this rod knock from the compressor...
