I am trying to get some doors hung on my red iron building. The door guy said I needed 5" or so to mount the door track. The frame oping is only 3". He wants me to mount a 2"X6" all around. I feel like over time the wood will deuterate. I was thinking has anybody ever bolted a 6" wide 1/4"...
