welding stainless with flux core wire

It's recommended to backpurge when welding stainless with gas to limit impurities from contaminating the weld. If using a flux core wire should you also backpurge?

Bought an Icon ratchet from HF!

Was at HF buying gloves and saw that my store was carrying the Icon stubby 3/8 ratchet. Since I was without one, I figured it was a perfect opportunity to pick one up and try out the Icon line. Unboxing. The packaging is very premium. Really nice. It also came with branded wipe cloth to keep...

where to buy 3/8 drive metric semi-deep swivel socket set

Need to get at a stud and nut in a tight spot that requires me to come in with a swivel. Stud prevents a short socket to fit on and not enough room for a deep socket with a swivel. Just a regular chrome set, I'm not sure an impact set would fit. TIA!

I think the most useful features will be clear and easy settings that he can quickly get started with. I've been considering the Hobart Handler...

    Recommend me a floor jack

Looking to get a new floor jack. I'm looking for a low profile, long reach, high jacking jack. Preferably with quick pump. I've bought a few HF jacks the past decade and have increasingly become dissatisfied with them, primarily their release mechanism. I've considered the HF Daytona lineup but...
