    DIY? OR original equipment?

Saw this table lift setup on an already sold drill press this morning. It uses a bicycle chain with a circular flange to allow it to rotate with the table. It looks much older than the DP it was on. Anyone have ideas of where this could have come from? I couldn't get too close to try and see...

    Manly Challenger screwdriver!

Picked up this old Challenger screwdriver at a GS. It's almost the right size for me to use as a walking cane! Maybe add a removable tip and a bit of polish and perhaps get myself a monocle. It's the perfect posh mechanics cane.

    Router bit sharpener?

I got this years ago, don't exactly know why. But I've seen a few at sales but nobody knows what they are used for. It has a 1/4 collet on the one end, a tightening knob on the other. What is this for, where did it come from and how do you use it?

King kool knife blade set. Next one looks like a height gage of some sort, no markings. The other one is an interesting bench knife I picked up. What do you think?

Overwhelmed by a private estate sale.

I was allowed into a private estate sale yesterday that I had seen the place a couple of years ago. I spent all of the money I had back then and barely touched the surface. Yesterday I was allowed free reign to pick whatever I wanted, put it in a box and figure out what it was worth later...

    Old test indicators

A selection of my old style test inducators, I'm not sure if the Finder indicator is actually for measuring, seems less than quality. The Lufkin I really like, simple but accurate. Same with the Ideal tool co. But made even simpler. The double ended one is kinda unique. Made by H Koch New...
