Saw this table lift setup on an already sold drill press this morning.
It uses a bicycle chain with a circular flange to allow it to rotate with the table. It looks much older than the DP it was on.

Anyone have ideas of where this could have come from?
I couldn't get too close to try and see the manufacturer and only had a few minutes to look.

I can see putting this to use on a couple of my drill presses.

Wow, somebody drilled the heck out of that V-block!

I remember seeing that design advertised. I should have bought one then! I have the same drill press shown in the photos, and I bought it new.

That is a pressmate lift sold by sears in the ‘80s. You’ll find some hits in a search here.
