I have a 2 Story existing post and beam structure 22' X 12' (bunk house. ) I would like to Add a 22 X 16 addition with plumbing, using poured slab. What would be the best Footing method to bridge the two? In Minnesota, frost footing need to be 48". My thought is to dig down 48" by 18"...
