I see alot of you guys pour footings......are they code in your area? the only thing around here with footings are commercial buildings.....most residential detached garages are just poured on slabs..

Where the builder/owner was having problems with his neighbor/neighbors cuz of the shear size of the build.I remember the neighbor posting little signs out, trying to poke fun @ the town zoning, and the builder too...I can't seem to locate the thread. Some help would be greatly appreciated..

anyone build a pole building on top of their slab? I talked to a morton builder in the area a while back and he suggested that when I said I was going to concrete inside the building...only difference is the sill plate instead of the poles in the ground.
