I recently purchased a Reed vise with a 5" jaw, but the slide is broken. I paid $35 as is. My plan was to flip it without much work, although I've considered cleaning it up so the patent dates and other markings are more visible. Opinions on this one? I also have an Allied vise with a 5" jaw...

What's up everyone? I recently stumbled across this forum while looking for information about a Wilton Vise. Some 20 years ago I was a member of an active forum for local car enthusiasts, but it fell to the wayside with social media. Glad to see this place thriving.
