    Preliminary design decisions for detached 4 car garage

    I'm trying to work through preliminary design decisions for a detached 4 car garage and would appreciate input. Is for a duplex in Dayton, OH. General: 44 x 24, with (2) 18x8 doors on the eave side (2' on the ends and 4' in between). Thinking 10' walls, but they could be just over 9'...

    THWN or bare ground with Al USE 2-2-4?

    I've got a lead on getting some Al USE 2-2-4 cheap. I'm thinking about getting it for running to the garage, but I'm not sure what to run for the ground. Can I put either 8 AWG THWN or bare copper in the trench with the USE?
