    32 x 20 pole Building Going up

Looking good. Is that slopping down on the right side? How much of a drop is it? I'm planning on a 32'x32' and my property slopes backward as well. Looking forward to the progress.

    ram air compressor

I'll check tomorrow but the compressor actually looks similar to all the other major brand names. Gearbuilder is right. Also, RamAir was sold by Snap-on. I picked mine up for 159 buxs. That was what was left in my wallet and I just bought a Hoffman Monty tire changer off the fellow when I...

    ram air compressor

I just picked up the same compressor. Mine has a bad starter Capacitor but appears to be in running condition. Here's on on ebay currently. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ram-Air-80-gal-5-hp-Air-Compressor-/120911818412?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c26e7eeac#ht_329wt_1162 From looking at the...

    Problem Soldering Aluminum

Tractor supply and even harbor freight have those low temp (700 degrees F) aluminum brazing rods. I've used them on my john boat and they work. You just need to take your time, prep, the area and whatever you do, don't heat and melt the rod. Heat the area and than scratch the rods on the area to...

    Tundra bumper start

Those old steel bumpers are the real deal. You could run it thru a brick wall and it would still hold up. I thought about some rail road ties cut down or 4inch pipe with concrete filler as a bumper. These newer cars would not even put a dent in one if you were to hit them with it.

    Shipping a Pistol

This is correct. Also the pistol would qualify as a C&R (curio and relic) and so could be sent to a C&R license holder instead of a full FFL.

Awesome, wish I could find an old Firestation to buy. Only thing next would be an old fire truck to go with it.

    Snappy Box Ideas

"it's your money, do with it what you want", but If it were me I would use the money and get a Kobal stainless steel from Lowes for 1600 buxs. With the savings, you could treat yourself to some other tools. I know around me, craigslist is flooded with used and slightly used tool boxes from...

Cutting metal with a circular saw?

I would use the 4 1/2" angle grinder as well as the sawzall. I picked up some metal cutting blades from depot. They were red and were rated for 1/4" to 1/2" steel. Had picture of steel I beam. Worked great. I use to get the bi metal blades which were ****. The teeth would wear out. If you want a...

    Motorcycle Wheel Clock

Mine keeps me ill too. She's a Pediatric nurse, sees all kinds of kids come in with cuts and bruises. I had 3 bikes and was down to my Ninja. She told me I should sell it being that I don't ride much and if I should have the urge later on, that I could get another. Stupid me, fell for the ploy...

building a shed on a big slope

That's houw I would do it, build the pilings and deck and then build the shed on top. I was in a similar situation myself as my back yard slopped where I wanted to put a shed. It was about a 4foot drop on the back end of my shed so I put in a bunch of 4x4's with a brace across. All they did was...

About to sheetrock.... have a couple questions

I would do the ceiling first. Get yourself a drywall lift or rig something up. It will really help save your back and neck. I went out and bought a slightly used drywall lift for 75 buxs when I had to do my parents place knowing full well I'll use it for finishing my basement, my father in law...

    Transport help?

Call freight rate company or yellow freight. I had a John Deere 318 garden tractor with snow blower, wheel weights, chains shipped from WI to DE for 360.00. Well worth the money, time and aggravation.

    My messy garage...

Looks good. I like how you have your tool box drawers labeled. I would also peg board the rest of the walls on the other side too. Gives you more storage option.
