This is kind of off topic, but here goes anyway.I have just agreed to purchase an old Case 444 garden tractor from a guy in Binghamton,NY.I am looking for help in getting it closer to my home in Belfast,ME. If anyone here travels between NY and New England in the next few weeks and is willing to help out ,please PM me.My Dakota is very worn out and I don't dare take it on a 1200 mile round trip.I can rent a pickup for short money and unlimited mileage, but it can go no further south than the Connecticut border(GPS equipped). The tractor weighs around 750lbs. and will fit in my Dakota, so it will go in a fullsize with ease.My phone is 207-974-7450 if you wish to call. Thanks to all! Mark

Call freight rate company or yellow freight. I had a John Deere 318 garden tractor with snow blower, wheel weights, chains shipped from WI to DE for 360.00. Well worth the money, time and aggravation.

Try http://www.uship.com/ You post what you want shipped. Also where you want it shipped from, & where it's going... Then you choose from a list of prospective shippers who will offer bids in response to your post. It's a great website with a lot of great info.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, but I am on disability and don't have much money.I am just hoping for someone who is coming this way and is willing to throw it in the back of their pickup. We're talking a $200 tractor here.
