Yup tried that everything runs smooth by hand. Took everything off and tried to run the motor with no load and the same thing.

im on the market for a new tape measure. Ive always used stanley 16' no frills tape. Any suggestions?

LOL the electric ones are maybe a touch better. But if you need to inject cleaner into the washer you may need to get a gas powered one or find a attachment for an electric one.

i would have to assume while it is stopped (i don't have a sight glass on my ir) While it is running the oil is being splashed up onto the cylinder walls to lubricate and cool. Guys chime in if i'm incorrect this is just an educated guess.

well im almost done with puttin it back together. Everything was taken off and sandblasted and painted (except the fence, couldn't fit in cabinet). just waiting for the knives to get sharpened and it'll be ready to go. Put in new bearings on the cutter head and a new pulley on the motor...

not necessarily. you have to match the wire size with your tips on your torch too. In order to get deeper welds there's no way getting around more amps and current draw assuming your running a 110v now.
