If you want to keep it looking good for years, cover it with a piece of clear plastic. Then you can always keep some pictures or whatever underneath.

I'd clean that crack out really well using either a power washer, or use an airhose to blow everything out, then wash it out. After that, get some mortar mix to fill it. Let that settle in and cure, then use a leveling compound over that if you are going to finish the floor.
