    Very interesting spark plug situation

Another vote to pull the head, after reading your thread completely I doubt you will be able to get all of it out in one piece and without re taping the threads anyhow. when head comes off if it don't look good bring it to machine shop as suggested. They have more precise machines than most of...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Re: what did you do in your garage today? Well it started like this... I finished the day by filling up the trash cans and selling a 4l60e that I had sitting. I even managed to get to warm up the bike and take a short ride. so right now it is:

Complete Hydraulic 4 post lift - failed to deliver product

As stated earlier I would name a price when you talk to them. I don't know what the lift cost but shoot for a 20% discount at least. I am sure the shipping out and return shipping plus whatever profit they make will be more than a 20% discount. Tell them you ordered another from elsewhere(that...

    Porsche stuck in concrete

Yup the hate that goes on against someone who has something nice bothers me as well. I worked my *** off and built several nice cars over the years to have someone key it for no reason. Most of us have been there stuck in traffic for an hour or more when you see a possible go around and you...

    Free technician toolbox!

Most technicians purchase quality tools and they even hold sentimental value in some cases. When a mechanic is sick and someone borrows a wrench and replaces it with same make and model wrench but not the original it is NOT o.k. in my book. With that being said This seems to be a way to...

    F you purolator

Getting a gasket left on the block is because the person who installed the last filter never rubbed the new filter gasket with oil. Just stick your finger into new or old oil and rub on the new filter and it won't stick 3 months later. Never had a problem ever with Purolator changed oil...

Anyone make their own parts washer?

How big do you need? is the 1st question I ask. I am tight on space and got rid of my Big 20 gallon parts washer when i found myself cleaning small items in it on occasion and using it for storage the rest of the time. A cooler would be a nice Base for a parts washer and a Harbor Freight...
