Re: Garage Condo 45x23
Thanks... Totally agree... There is something like this in Burbia here, 60 miles away... Good for you and keep the pics coming. Again, awesome place to hang-gonna meet some really cool people, too.
Awesome stuff- lake county, il checking in!! You guys do anything once it gets above 4degrees, let me know!!! Jesus it's cold... Sorry about the Pack- great game... Love that team and stadium, too.
Re: Garage Condo 45x23
That is awesome... These are popping up, but not where I live yet(Chicago north suburb)... You mind sharing about the money on this- lease, buy, etc.. ?? Also, what's going in this masterpiece? Assume it has a sink, etc? Very cool!
Yeah- thanks.. I have the flouresecent lights now, they **** in the cold- the one guys post that I followed the link to was how good the LED's are... More $$, but better lighting and longer lasting.... Anyone go this route? Thanks
Not really, the patio has mortored in stone surrounding walls with 3 open areas(besides door to house) to access patio. I'm wondering if after 15 years, if I should drill some holes in the base of the walls to add drainage? But then, I'm assuming a lot of sand loss/drawing through same holes?
Thanks guys- it's a large patio and blowing that mold out really smells like a bad pond! I'll get the polymeric. Any better than the rest in your opinion?
Guys, have you had any success with any "joint sealer" products? Also, paver sealer themselves? I'm in northern midwest and brutal winters might crack any joint sealer I'm thinking? Spending last 2 days pressure washing mold/Dirt out of my patio and wondering any wild success products out there...
Man, this is nearly identical to what I'm thinking... Could you post a pic of a car just in garage enough to clear overhead door? I'd like to see how much room in front of vehicle to wall that looks like... Thanks again, awesome job
This is incredible... May I ask what your cost/per foot is approx? I'm outside of Chicago and getting ready to plan a nearly identical size building. Thanks for posting
Awesome work!!! Hey, where did you get the radiant barrier bubble? What do mean with "must be done with an air gap" how did you secure it? This is what I need to do in my Chicago area garage... Way to hot, WAAAAAY too cold!! Thanks
Awesome. I noticed in your 1st pic of "old" garage was a bench on casters... Did you guild that or buy it? If bought, where? If built, would you have the plans? Looks incredible... Thanks!!
Anyone experienced with additions where they are attached on 2nd story so there is separation between the 2, 1st story structures? Way our house sits, we want to add a large garage with a 2nd story and have a walkway attached to our current 2nd story. We need that "gap" to enter our backyard...
Great build, identical of what I'd like to do yet we have HOA rules of no garage doors directly facing street. Did you face anything like this as well? Our other option is angling the doors which increases costs and no drive thru ability. Thanks
