My Snap On's are my favorite, followed closely by Matco, I also have Mac and Craftsman but don't really care for either. I have old Snap Ons, 15 year old Snap Ons and new dual 80's and they are all my favs!

I have the Mac Edge 6 point flex head ratcheting wrenches, have had them about 1-1/2 years now and are working great! My Mac man told me the wrenches are forged in the USA then sent to Taiwan for assembly of the ratceting mechanism, not sure if this is true or not, no markings on the wrench for...

I work 2 jobs, one job I have a large Snap On KRL box full of tools, 2nd job I have a 3 drawer roll cart full of tools and home I have a 3 piece Craftsman box full of tools, not all home tools are high quality though

I prefer the soft handles, I can get more torque on stubborn fasteners, especially overtightened #3 phillips. I work 2 jobs right now and have soft handles at both and I also have a hard handle at home.

I have the Matco 3/8" and really liked it at first but after about 1-1/2 years of owning it both batteries are just about dead, they will only last long enough to remove about a dozen bolts now. My Matco rep cannot warranty them because the warranty is only 1 year. I use the gun almost every day...

The KRA series in made in Canada, KRL series is made in the USA.

Something I have not seen mentioned in this thread: Chrome sockets will wear out the anvil on your impact gun much quicker than impact sockets. Impact sockets are softer and will deform a little around your anvil, this is why they get loose on your anvil after some time. Chrome sockets do not...

I've got a Craftsman 3/8" butterfly, price is good and it's worked great for the past 4 years. I use my Snap On 3/8" impact gun more often, but the butterfly is great when I can't get the Snap On into tight places.

Nevermind, just checked their website, the flex heads are a few bucks off but not 50%

Do they have the flex head stubbys on sale?

From what I see the only difference between them is cobalt or titanium. I have both and do not notice any difference in cutting ability. For steel you want to get 135 degree points, not 118 degree. Make sure thats what they have, if not look for something that does.
