I don't have many pliers, but the ones I do have are the best you can buy IMO...same with the rest of my tools. I don't work on cars that often yet (still just fifteen years old) so until then I only need the basics. Slowly building up my tool collection with nothing but the best. I've got all kinds of other pliers but these are my main ones I use every day.

These are just my FACOM pliers:

Yes, there are dupes in the collection. I don't care. I really dig those pliers. I have a bunch of others, lots of Channellocks and some Craftsman and a ton of all sorts of Vise-Grips. I also have a nice chunk of Klein and Knipex in there too (and yes, there are some Snap Ons). For the record, the FACOM are my all-time favorite.

PS... for some reason, the Craftsman pliers are among my least favorite.

I agree, that set is top notch. I have two of those sets. One in my garage for working on cars, and one in my tool box I carry on the job (A/V and security install). After the first set, I knew that I didnt want to use anything else for any seriouse work.

I have a big mish-mosh of pliers. I noticed HD had a set of channellocks on sale for 33$ or something like that. Waterpumps, Bull nose, needle nose and dykes(wire cutters). I was tempted, and the finish looked flawless.

Interestingly enough, I will not buy anything BUT vise grip branded visegrips. These are the best and Snap On/Matco sell these things on the trucks as well. The Irony is that Irwin uses this super common name on their taiwanese pliers? ID be willing to bet that If they made those in the US and Advertised it they would give channellock a run for thier money.

Ya' think I should take inventory??!! Two drawers full, two tool belts with a number of different types each, a couple of five gallon "Bucket Boss" setups with a few, and ?? ?? ?? Many oddball kinds that I've picked up over the years, and on, and on, ad infinitum. :lol_hitti :bounce:

Guys,
I am in a sad state of affairs. I've lost so many and haven't bought new ones in a long time. Hopefully I will fix that soon.

Here are a few of my pliers. The big channelocks, 18" snap-ring pliers, and visegrip clamps are not pictured.
