Craftsman Industrial is rumored to be releasing some nice double box end wrenches. Probably Armstrong clones? I haven't been able to find much info on them, but would be interested in them if the price was right.

I'm a shade tree guy, not a pro. My go-to ratchet is a Snap On FLF80, and 99% of my sockets are older Craftsman (circa 2000) USA made sockets. I've never experienced a single issue with the detents / retention. -a

A lot of people love the grip and mini-grip. I went to a local REI to hold them in my hand. I thought the scales felt cheap and slippery. Also too thick. I like a thinner profile for ease of carry. Its really best to go handle a few to see which you like best.

I'm looking pretty hard at the Benchmade 940-1. Looks to be a perfect edc/gentleman's knife. In a perfect world, I'd also get a Spyderco PM2 for weekend duty. On the other hand, the Spyderco Southard looks like a good weekday knife too. Too many damn choices!

I try to stick to the Pro stuff too. I really think their stuff is getting better. Here is the real irony...with HF's warranty is better than Craftsman's these days, and I have more HF stores near me than Sears.

I like Waytek Wire, Terminal Supply Company or Del-City for that stuff. Good quality terminals. If you sign up to their mailing lists, they send out specials all the time. -a
