Cycloaliphatic's are ring shaped molecules (think benzene, etc). Aliphatic are straight chains. Since the cyclo has double bonds between atoms I would think it would have superior properties.
I am looking for a powerstrip (4 outlets) to mount on the front of my workbench to plug tools into. Most of the ones I have seen use cheesy mounting brackets or have inset holes in the back. I am looking for one that I can screw into the wood for a sturdy mount. Any suggestions?
3/8" rubber will be the best. A lot of places carry it online. I am doing a 32' by 12' area myself now. It comes in snap together tiles or large 4' wide rolls. I am going with the rolls for a seamless look. I recommend looking at a few products and obtaining samples. I am going with the...
I want to put rollout rubber flooring in a section of my garage. I am worried if I have any moisture coming up it will get trapped under the rubber floor and condense. I want to seal the floor with something quality and economical before laying out the 3/8" rubber flooring (which will be free...
Not sure how it works in your state, but in my state, the town is allowed up to a 15% error, which means, you can't fight it (and win) unless you prove the value is 85% or less than the taxed assessed value. For you, that would be $199,240
Nice ideas guys, I am looking to keep this budget as eventually I may just finish the area off. Rods and some kind of inexpensive heavy duty curtains it will probably be.
I'd save that for the weight room. I've seen rubber tiles and rolls as cheap as 1.50 a square foot, but shipping adds a lot to the cost as they are heavy. I don't think they would handle water that well, and they are hard to clean.
I guess a tarp would work, but i would want something that is clean and neat looking. I use can use the grommets on the tarp to hook onto the bar (or pipe) run horizontally along the ceiling.
I want the ability to section of a portion of the garage that is a dedicate work/shop area. I am thinking of "shower curtain" type divider where I can install a rod track, and a long pull curtain to enclose the shop area when I want and open it up when I want. I am having a hard time coming up...
Wow, I didn't think they cost so much compared to the base tiles that are 60 cents per 12x12. The stonex looks decent for the money, how grippy is it? I guess you could still epoxy seal.
I am strongly considering this, has any used these tiles? One of the biggest complaints with vct is that they are slippery when wet. I believe this solves the issue. The other issue is the maint. / polishing, which can be avoiding by applying a clear epoxy coating on top...
