My favourite ratchets so far in 1/4" and 3/8", have them with the high and with the low tooth count as well with the grip handle and flex head. I must say that the ratcheting mechanism of the 1/2" 512SG-QR N ist not as nice on my model compared to the 1/4" and 3/8" or the 1/2" with flex head...

Dear All, I am looking for a proper flanging tool for DIN/ISO convex, bubble flare (F 180°, "DIN-F-Bördel") for 4,75mm / 13/16" brake lines. Any suggestions? Many thanks in advance.

Go for the NWS QuattroGrip pliers - I do find their teeth the best on the market by far. I have two pairs, one chromed version 49 and one black phosphated version 12. Go with the twelve 1661-12-250. Do have the Stahlwille Fastgrip as well (made by VBW, part of Stahlwille group) and several...

Dear All, I got me some 3/8" Nepros ratchets and 3/8" Nepros sockets. The ratchets are divine, the sockets are OK. I prefer the Ko-ken Z-series (Z-EAL) over the KTC Nepros. I am very fond of the KTC tool holders: As I saw that these KTC holders are made in Taiwan, maybe you can help me...

Maybe this helps to shed light into the Knipex crimp ideas: Pdf. It is in German only as the one from the American website shows the wrong plier.

After the recommendation on p. 1627 I bought the Cejn safety connectors - thank you! What are good tin snips? I do need a set of left, right and straight cutting ones.

I bought from Motointegrator a full range of Toptul tools for my second workshop and they have yet to fail me, even the hex sockets or the breaker bars. Some suggestions from my side as they are cheap as chips and good quality...

Dear All, I am looking for quality fittings / quick-disconnect coupler for 1/2" air tools. What are good ones that I can get in Europe. I have seen 'Kawasaki' branded ones earlier in this thread, but cannot find them. Kind regards, Mathias

Be prepared to fix the charger. The mode switch fails regularly on these models. I know this by heart as the ones from my mates as well as mine failed after about 2-3years in service. I now use GYS from France, the best so far in performance and quality.

New tools, pretty standard. Hazet 916 HP, new 1/2" ratchet. 90 teeth, very smooth, rated 1.000Nm of torque. Snap-On FLL80 & TLL72. Extra long. I chose them because Stahlwille is not yet available (the long handle ratchet has a delivery date in the far future). Snap-On TM72 bit ratchet and SK...

Those are the flexible ones, the standard ones must be cheaper. I wonder when I can get the standard ones with steel handle. Maybe try Dolex. Cheaper than Facom. http://www.dolex.fr/resultrecherche.aspx?fam=5&gamme=&ouv=

Looks nice, although the handle looks different then what I am used to from Hazet. But Stahlwille (long 1/4" !!!) was faster with these: -clickable preview- I have them with the standard toothing and full metal handle - my favourite ratchets. Easy to clean.

Nice wrenches, aren't they? Additonally to the super torque AAEW I have labeled as Facom (USAG has them, too) I bought some long wrenches, torx wrenches, half moon wrenches, impact sockets and nut buster sockets, ratchets, t-handles and breaker bars. Besides the breaker bar and the ratchets...

In contrast to the more expensive Gedore. The Gedore might be better in the long rong, as you pass them on to your son and so on, as they have interchangeable cutting blades. But the blade kit (2x cutting blades, 2x screws, 1x screw driver) is about 20€ (only had a quick look at the price). The...
