WHAT? I always use quick release. I will chuck a ratchet to the back 40 if it holds so tight I have to pry a socket off. I will also chuck one if the socket randomly falls off right as I get to that impossible to access bolt! Only ratchets with a release button here!

We tested it shortly after getting it. I got the drain and overflow lined up, mixed more bedding mortar, and the tub is now set........YAY!!

Just got cleaned up after sanding all day. That mud dust makes my hair feel like steel wool! Small bedroom is ready for primer. Upsatairs bath is ready for primer. The hall area upstairs is ready for primer. I've started inside the closet of the master bedroom and should complete it tomorrow...

This whole weekend will be mud, sand, flashlight, touch up mud, sand............you get the idea. Small bedroom has been touched up and ready to hand sand with screen. Master bedroom (i think) is all touched up and ready for hand sanding with screen. And upstairs bath is now ready for power...

No pics from this weekend, just more mudding around jambs and corners one day, then 6.5 solid hours of sanding the next.......I can barely move my arms!

I only work on jet skis AND the Yamaha and Seadoo jet boats that have jet ski engines. You gotta watch those others, some of them came with oddball engine or pump setups that are almost impossible to find parts for.

I know, because everything you read says that's too much span on a ceiling for 1/2" rock. I'm thinking weight of blown in........moisture issues from improper venting.....or maybe old school nails with no screws........all I can say is mine has never given issues. Edit: might be hard to see but...

YEP! I had thought about 5/8" just for the ceilings, but my old house has rafters 2ft oc and we redid the living room almost 30 years ago with 1/2" and there is no bowing or ripples in my ceiling.
