Please Educate me on HDPE/Poly Pipe

Correct.... I said civil contractor:). There is nothing worse than being without water or fixing a water break. Hell even my irrigation "Mains" are plumbed this way.

Please Educate me on HDPE/Poly Pipe

This is a civil contractors approach so a little more expensive but bullet proof. I would use cts (much easer to find and adapt to if ever needed) pipe with brass compression couplers like these...

    large hex bit sockets.

Timing cover plugs on quads/dirtbikes is another example. 10,14,17 are common. Some use them for valve cover plugs also. It is pretty ridiculous to use a 1/2" drive 17mm hex to take a plug out that has max 10-15 lbs of torque

Harbor Freight 3 ton jack reviews?

Had mine for about a year now weekend diy and love it. I've never had a jack with the rapid pump and would never think about going back now. No issues with it that's for sure.

Is there a small circle cutter out there?

Tools that are just NOT needed, but lovely Engineers make you buy

I'm just an average smhoe and have both t-27/47 it's actually quite common in any set of socket bits. Ive used them on brake calipers on really tight t-45 taped them in and no chance of slipping. Might not be what they where ment for but it works. To be honest I rather like torx and etorx can...

Am I the only one that has a Craftsman Bolt-On 20V Max Lithium Ion Drill?

The difference is with a combo I can use my drill to predrill the holes and my driver to drive the screws no messing around or swaping bits or changing heads

Am I the only one that has a Craftsman Bolt-On 20V Max Lithium Ion Drill?

I could see some uses for a diy guy who doesn't need or have the space for a bunch of dedicated tools on the other hand I can't see anything other than the drill and impact driver working that well. I think it has an inflator attachment that ppl really like to.

    Impact driver or impact wrench.

It also depends on what size of wrench u are talking about. I'm going to assume u mean the compact ones that are the same size as the drivers. If u are talking about the big hightorque models I think u would be better off having both my little impact driver breaks enough bits and screws with...

    Impact driver or impact wrench.

Which would u use more the wrench or the driver I think that would answer your question. If u do mechanical work more then I think u would be dissapointed with a driver and vise versa

    Milwaukee Ball Pin vs Pin

I would go with the ball or hog ring the pin detent is the most annoying thing ever. unless all you ever plan to do is put one socket on and leave it there for the rest of the tools life. my dewalt has the pin and I hate it thinking im going pull it out and take it to the grinder to make it round
  17. Q

when do you use pliers vs wrench / sockets

Senior member 1688 posts. :headscrat Anyways as a absolute last resort on some thing that is compleatly rounded. Sockets and wrenches where made for a reason to take nuts and bolts apart. Pliers and vice grips where ment to hold stuff
