Wilton's have there dates stamped on the bottom of the keyways , is there a way to determine dates of manufacture on the CPN RIDGIDS

I have a 61CPN in very nice shape like the pictures in the post before this one , Does anyone here know how to determine the date of when it was made ? any help would be appreciated

harbor freight has a lot of stuff you could use to build with if you were concerned with cost , or you could contact a local shop in your area that repairs hydraulic equipment they may have used stuff left over from another job

the hanson socket holders are a good choice

This thing looks like a beast , the older equipment sometimes has better quality than things made these days

I use to see vise parts and old vises at flea markets that were nothing more than parts years back but i dont see that like i use to . maybe someone on here may have a part for your Athol good luck in your search

we had a vise like this at work only difference it was orange it cracked around the set screw area where it swiveled , then it was nothing more than scrap metal , you cant beat the quality of the old usa made vises.

this vise would be good for light work , i cant see it holding up to heavy use the material its made out of just isn't as strong as the usa made vises

What does this table weigh ? looks like it will last several peoples lifetime really nice work and chraftsmanship

the vise i got doesnt have a vise nut with it as it was broken and removed by the previous owner

I have been looking for a vise nut for a 5196 its a smaller version of the 5198 , been looking for this for some time now

craftsman has been making its stuff in china for some time now to

most places around here around here just has the free replacement period and after that its your battery , they make more money by selling you another battery

just wondering if the weight of what is mounted to this stand ever makes it unstable sence its mounted off center , its a nice looking stand though
