Use the student discount and get a kra 2422. Nice casters, plenty of space, quality, and perfect work surface height. Do not get a service cart as the lift lid will about the hell out of you. In general aviation I did lots of rebuilding and small assembly work and the 2422 was my favorite...

You can custom being the online offerings. You just have to wait and you'll likely pay full price

You can basically ask for any color and they will try to accommodate you. Idk about the custom drawer depth. Mine came with 2 extra liners and a liner for a top bay.

There is no need for a double bay working in the shop work in. I don't want to push around a double bay when this one will fit more than i really need. It's by far the nicest single bay in the game

Very little compared to GA, 1/4 drive stuff simple ball peen / punches, wrenches, screwdrivers... just basic airplane stuff. It is a hassle to have to walk to another side of the box to get to the next set of drawers. Doesn't sound like it but it truly is an inconvenience. Mount a side box...
