    Coil spring compressor

Second these. These are by SPC: https://store.specprod.com/item/40260/UNIV-SPRING-COMPRESSOR/ These are the originals to all the knockoffs that can be found for much cheaper. Used it a few times, the biggest on an Odyssey, and it felt very safe. I also considered the cup style but felt safer...

    Long/Low Profile needle nose pliers

I have the HF Pittsburgh pliers and they do fine for very little money. Pretty hard to go wrong with pliers.

    Ratchet help needed Carlyle R1490A

Did it work when you got it? The internals look the same as Capri. Parts from a Capri rebuild kit will likely work and you may even get an upgrade to 90T, but you're missing these parts: The other spring and ball go under the selector switch. I'm betting the Capri rebuild kit can all be swapped...

    Ratchet help needed Carlyle R1490A

You're missing the pintle and spring that goes in the selector switch hole that pushes up against the pawl.

The CAT wrenches are the same as the Williams Supercombo (Snap-On Industrial brand). Of all of the professional tool lines, these are probably the heaviest that I've seen.

Flex Head vs Swivel Head. Both Ratchets and Wrenches

The Craftsman V Series ratchets back drag is horrible. They also aren't serviceable so you can't lube them up properly.

    Help settle a disagreement

Appears the seller didn't provide tracking info as requested even though it's in the system. All he had to do was input the tracking number for proof. He probably appealed and got his funds back so you both win.

    Help settle a disagreement

That was goodwill on the part of the seller. Your picture also may have helped, but if a buyer files an INR and the seller disputes it, eBay would say delivered, case closed. In your case, eBay did not step in to mediate. Nobody would be a seller on eBay if delivered didn't mean you're protected...

    Help settle a disagreement

eBay will certainly side with the seller if it shows delivered, otherwise, there would be no seller protection.

If there's tracking and it shows delivered, you can't claim item not received, even if it was stolen or misdelivered.

I usually spray a little WD-40 into the joint of all of the new pliers I get and work it. It helps quite a bit, the joint will ooze black.

    Time to Upgrade

Mine are all micrometer style, no split beam or electronic. The CDI is a good value if you can get over their shortcomings. Here's a recent thread griping about CDI. https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/threads/problems-with-cdi-torque-wrenches.552436/

    Craftsman Industrial Surprise

Pure marketing hype. Even the full polish combo wrenches are the same as Cman Pro. I'm surprised they even had raised panel ratchets rebranded as Industrial.

    Time to Upgrade

What do you have now? I started with Cman clickers, then upgraded to CDI. Not real happy with the low tooth count and the stupid middle lock position, I jumped on over to Snappy.

    Absolutely nothing.

Vaughan soft face hammer, how is the tip retained?

Nothing but a tight fit the the male square end of the hammer.

    Problems with CDI torque wrenches

Can totally relate, I have 5 of them. The center lock position is dumb unless you have need for a fixed head. ICON and Snap On have a high tooth count and roll stamp scale. I've thought about removing the REV pawl to make it a FWD only or dabbing a little epoxy on the switch.
