    Power tool storage ideas??

I use inxpensive ($5-$10) tool boxes for power tools that did not come with cases. This lets me keep bits, saw blades, chucks and other accesories with the tool and it also makes them portable for work away from the shop.

I had a leatherman my brother in law gave me for standing up at his and my sister's wedding eight years ago. Used it a lot until a few weeks ago. My truck got broken into and it along with about $500 worth of tools got stolen. I definately plan on getting another one, hopefully Santa checks...

    Cman comfort grip screwdrivers?

What do you guys think of these screwdrivers? Are they a major step up from standard Craftsman hard handle screwdrivers? I'm trying to replace a stolen tool box/set that I use away from the house. These seem like a good deal, but If they are not much better then a standard Cman driver then...

WTB: Proto 1/4 Ratchet, pear head...

I have a two brand new Proto 1/4" drive pear heads that I could trade you. One is #4749P (chrome) and the other is 4749PBL (black). They are both brand new never used. I would be interested in trading for a 3/8" Proto ratchet, either #5249P or #5249PG. I wouldn't mind paying you a few bucks...

    Has anyone dealt with Grainger

I have been told they will sell to some one without a company account one time. So far I have walked in three times and bought on all three occasions. Each time they tell me I am allowed a one time purchase. Two of the times I have picked up items in stock and one time it needed to be ordered...

Craftsman deal of the day 145 pc $99

I don't really have an issue with lazer etched sockets yet. Maybe my opinion will change as my young eyes age. The set I picked up on clearence a few months ago has them. I'm just worried about the the markings are not going to hold up. Ten years down the road I would hate to have a bunch of...

Craftsman deal of the day 145 pc $99

I hope it is on this set and not the one that replaced it in the 2008 catalog. I would prefer the non lazer etched sockets.

    compressor drain ball valve

I used a galvanized elbow and short piece of pipe with a brass ball valve. I did not tighten it as much as I could have, just used plenty of teflon tape. No leeks since I have done it about a month ago. I can probably get it around one or two more times but I just left it sticking out the way...

Shelf price on the 10 piece 1/2" drive socket set was the same as the Cman club price. No big deal I guess, but I did not feel special swiping my Cman club card :(

    Best tool set under $600?

Thats pretty expensive for gearwrenches. I would wait for another 40-50% off sale at Sears that comes around every few months. I bet they will have some nice sales for Father's Day.
