Locally there is pilkington metal finishings in magna (not sure if they would do it but maybe they would throw it in line) or unknown coatings here in Herriman. It would be cheaper if you do the blasting.

I told them it would rust and they were fine with that. Eventually I will get a tig haha.

Thank you both! That is all I did to it. Originally I was just going to have it be just the frame then decided it needed a little more, so I built everything else. I just left it all raw how it sits. He loved it and had no idea what I was building him so it was a success.

I built this shelby gt500 model for my dads birthday. Its mainly 3/16 round rod, 23" long and 9" wide. 17 hours later this is what I came up with. I want to build some other cars the same way but would like to use a software program to figure everything out. What software would you recommend?

I decided to use the rest of the engine and build another light. I used the heads and valves for this one then fabricated an "exhaust". I will probably do some paint on this one or carbon fiber the exhaust.

It's all good I like seeing others work it just gives me more ideas! Another thought I have heads for this that could be used a coasters, or something still trying to find something for them to do.- I saw your coasters lol. I like how you incorporated the switch into the engine. More ideas now.

I personally would let the bondo dry then pencil on a design that looks like the rest, then scrape it in. You could also try this on the stamp- rust-oleum never wet.
