Aerospace is generally designed for confined spaces, so theres a plus. Though i will say that i would never crank on a aerospace ratchet to break bolts loose the same as i would a typical ratchet id use on a car. Imo the best aerospace ratchet is the 1/4" sk. Dont get too fancy is all im saying...

I think technically they dont have to since the warranty covers 'the life of the tool'. So I would take whatever they offer to you-if anything. Its really a shame what happened to Craftsman, at one time they were the American standard for affordable,quality tools. More than enough for home use...
