So i have been looking around for some new sockets in 1/2" drive to replace my harbor freight set they are just getting plain wore slap out. The Snap on set seems to be around 280 bucks for 12-24 the SK set i looked at is 10-24 and just seems a little to high to me for SK i know they make a good...

GDocktor3 when i took mine apart it didn't look like you could make the hole bigger due to an O ring seal. I however ordered a rebuild kit. I will let you know of the outcome and if the new cover fits with no issues.

i do not recommend the lowes Kobalt swivels i have broken the 12mm about 3 times and broken knuckles hurt when they pop just my opinion i am looking into get some Sunex impact ones myself and not bothering with the chrome ones anymore

No i didn't file a claim just because the part number was correct on the item description he had entered i looked like 3 times. It just wasn't very clear.

That is a good thought as well chris i like that one. Shockwave the part number for the rebuild kit is RKRSR936 for the 1/2 drive but no luck on the dust cover yet.

I just realized i fat fingered the title opps. I paid 99 for it shipped to my house with but it came with a 17mm socket as well so i dont think it was terrible just not great if it was a dual 80 it would of been good on my end.

so your saying i could put a 1/2 head in this 3/8 body? If that is the case i like that idea alot i since i dont have a 1/2 flex head. Then i can just order a new flex head 3/8 dual 80 and be good again. It is just something about once you use a dual 80 in 3/8 that is all you want to pick up...

it does have the torx bolt to just be able to change out heads and if i could get a part number for a head i would order one and stick that head on a different handle. After all i can't be mad at anyone but myself for not reading properly. Also never take the damn guts out of the 36 tooth that...

Ok guys so i just bought what i thought was a dual 80 ratchet off of ebay. Well turns out i didn't read very well and its a 36 tooth ratchet :( well i was curious being the head looks exactly the same as the dual 80 do you guys think i could just order a dual 80 rebuild kit and slap it in?
