Heater is still working so-so, but I did find the old limit switch today. The heating guy didn't take it with him. The one installed now is 130-15F and the old one is 120-30F. Would this make a big difference in heat output and slow warm up?

There are actually 2 limit switches on here. The old one was not 180 (I'm not sure what it was - he took it with him). I'm thinking it has the pair of limit switches for a high (180-40 in this case) and low (and 130-15). I understand how the are measured now by your description, so can I just...

My heating guy replaced a limit switch on my old Janitrol 20K hanging gas heater before winter, but I'm wondering if he put in too cold of one. The new limit switch says F130-15F and the other says L180-40F. Taking nearly 4 hours to get up 55 degrees on a 20 degree day (2 car space) :mad...

Okay. Here's what I did. I found a cheap Speedaire regulator and stuck it immediately after the compressor. Got it dialed to its limit (150), so my filter should be fine. Stuck my regular good regulator after the filter (at 125). I just hope this isn't putting undo stress on my compressor...

Any other opinions? I know the line length isn't ideal, but I hope it works for catching most of the moisture at this short distance. Also, going to put my regulator after the filter even though it is only rated to 150. I'm assuming they mean 150 constant pressure and not holding pressure...

Just got a DeVilbiss CAMAIR QC3 filter that I'm hooking up in my compressor run. First off, the notes say I must have this 25 ft. from the compressor...well, I'm maybe 20 feet. I do have a riser and a water drain before the filter. Think I'll be okay? Also, I didn't realize this thing says...

60 gallon 5 HP compressor in a little 2 car. The flex line will eventually run to my "tree" on the wall with 3 lines (tool line, paint line, and blaster line). That's all I anticipate for now, but we all know how that goes. :rolleyes:

I'm sticking a flexible braided line off the compressor to wall mount. Should I spent the extra $ bigger than 3/8"? Looks like I can go up to 11/16", but it will add up with the AN to pipe fittings. I'm getting the shortest precut hose (3 ft.) Thanks!
