Well Neal after seeing your stuff on the HAMB over the last 15 years or so I must say you really have a fine eye for the aesthetic. But to be honest, I wouldn't have expected anything less. Well done! Carry on. MarkG in Canada

My shop equipment restoration and fabrication

Great looking nibbler you picked up there Bryan! I acquired a Pullmax back in November and have been doing a refurb on mine too. Like you, I will probably make most of my own tooling but fab'ing the louver tool was a little over my head so I acquired a brand new louver die set from Metallabfab...

    The Machine Work Thread

Good advice. That machine looks like it's been outside. I Paid 400$ for this lathe ...and 1000$ for this mill CDN $, so .75 of US$ , both for approx 1,050USD$ Keep looking! They're still out there.

    Welcome to my little garage!

Agreed, the P-bucket thing is a total catastrophe. Some non P-bucket pix of Nimrod's garage here: https://www.hemmings.com/blog/2009/04/07/nimrods-garage-a-shelter-to-match-the-car/ .....or just do an image Google search for "nimrod's garage" and most will come up.

    The thread of Dimple!! Finally.

Small dimple job on my son's V65 Honda bobber. He needed a new battery box to be able to tuck a new smaller battery up under the new seat support structure and out of sight once the new side covers are in place. We have a set of Claude's dies but used a slightly different size die set for this...

Air compressor big enough for a media blaster?

Guys, as noted by jonjon and csp above, the key is CFM output of your compressor head. The "gallons" you guys keep quoting is the size of the tank and is only the reserve of air you have when you are not using any air. Once you start to use compressed air at a serious rate it is the CFM output...
