    Air Compressor break in

Nothing yet, I'm going to re grease it, with. Super tech multi duty high temp grease, last I used green synthetic ball joint grease. See if that helps the wrench work like it should, if not I'm just going to buy another impact Sent from my SM-T320 using Tapatalk

    Air Compressor break in

Yep I did that, all fitting are good, I tho it maybe either be check valve or unloader valve, it doesn't drain all the time after a fill the last time it never went down at all. Sent from my SM-T320 using Tapatalk

Sometime it will go go down 10 psi but not all the time, 2 days ago it shut off and only went down 5 give or take but is now reading 155, I didn't thk it would drop 10psi. And sometimes it does take over night Sent from my SM-T320 using Tapatalk

    Air Compressor break in

Yea I was thkin that, it doesn't seem to be running bad, it has gotten a little louder maybe, with some hissing sounds give or take. Another thing is after break in it shut off at 155 psi once, then after that I had to adjust it to get to 155, also now after it shuts off at 155 it will go...

    Air Compressor break in

Hello, OK figured out the impact problem, now trying to figure out compressor problem errr. Here goes, OK the air compressor is new, its the kobalt 155psi 30 gallon at Lowes, I did a proper break in, and waited another 30mins of use give or take before changing oil. After changing oil I...

    need more air volume

Recalling back when I first purchased the impact wrench, I only had a 6 gallon Bostitch pancake oil less compressor. The first time using impact with that compressor I took off lugs that were on at 150 torque PDS. Seems right after that, started going down hill It only had around 2 cfm at...

Yep, I have psi set to 125ish, I figured its prob gun. To bad really . Just stuck with it till I can afford a better one I guess. I'm going to try and get a used one somewhere. Sent from my SM-T320 using Tapatalk

    need more air volume

It prob is my gun, but unfortunately I don't have another 200+ dollars to buy another. I do have a little to afford 20 for the fittings and such. The larger fittings and bigger hose is something I can use either way and will only help anyway. How every I would really love to get a better gun...

    need more air volume

OK this is my plan, first I guess I'm changing fittings to 3/8, hopefully that will do the job. If that don't work I'm going to get a 25ft 3/8 hose. If that don't work errr, I'm going to buy 1/2in hose. If that don't work, take it all back, plus compressor , then lick my wounds till they...

    need more air volume

The gun is about 3 years maybe 4 barely used. I disassembled it couple years ago and re greased it thing it would help. I have 50ft hose, I take the compressor to my driveway that's 100ft give or take away. The 3/8 fittings will cost me 15 to 20 bucks altogether Sent from my SM-T320 using...

    need more air volume

Barely adequate makes it sound like a wasted my money on this compressor. I hope that isn't the case. The only reason I didn't buy the 60 gallon was because it wasn't portable. My shed where I keep compressor is 100ft give or take from driveway where I work on my vehicles. Sent from my...

    need more air volume

That was my next question, seeing how I have 3/8 line, common sense says to use 3/8 fittings ? And also what about getting a 25ft hose vs 50ft? Also do they make 1/2in hose that works with 3/8 fittings? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to figure all this out. Thankyou for...

    need more air volume

So basically, there's nothing wrong with the impact wrench? Its just that the compressor is rated for just half of a cfm above that? And what about that IR231G, from post above? Sent from my SM-T320 using Tapatalk
