    Some interesting tools and finds today.....a couple of fine Lathe Motors, some machinists tools ( I especially like the Starrett Mic in its original factory wood box, amongst a box of invoices, bills and letters I found this unused check book from the 40's and this singing bird cage.

    I think the Waltham Clock you speak of is more similar to this example. It uses a 36 size pocketwatch 8day movement. These were commonly used in early car dashes too.
