    New tool cabinets from Tekton

Looks like a 60" box with a side cabinet?

I had a cheap wire brush explode on me many years ago when I worked in a shop. I looked like I pissed off a porcupine. Bristles were stuck in my clothes, my arm, and my face. Fortunately I wore safety goggles or I'd probably be half blind. One entered my face just below the goggles. Had a...

What are some of the tools manufacturers could make, but don't make?

Joe makes one similar to what you are talking about, and has for a long time. https://www.joesautoelectric.net/store/p57/%22Load_It%22_Variable_Load_Test_Units.html#/ If you wanted, I'd bet he'd custom make you one with a see-through cage over it instead of a full cover to protect your hands...

    Roller blade wheels on stuff

My suitcase came from the factory with rollerblade wheels. Rolls easy, doesn't mar floors, quiet.

My compressor is at my workshop, which is 15-20 minutes from my house. I have a "portable" 11 gallon air tank, but that also lives there. Its a huge pain to have to go get it to top up the air in the tires when winter comes around, and a pain to lug the heavy tank around. The other problem is...

I've had that saw for a while now. Used it a couple times. It works well, but it is a bit heavy and unbalanced if you have it extended all the way and hold it at much of an angle. The pole flexes a bit too. On the ground its no issue, but when I was standing on the roof, it was less fun.

    Ikon ratchets lack QR feature

The two Tekton ratchets I have (1/4 and 3/8) have noticeably more back drag than my dual 80s.

    Ikon ratchets lack QR feature

I used a QR ratchet for the first time in probably 20 years yesterday. I couldn't figure out why the damn extension wouldn't go on the ratchet. I examined it and found the button. :ROFLMAO: It was in a pinch, otherwise I use my Dual80s, which are all non-QR. I definitely prefer those.

I too lack the willpower to resist a GRATIS Flashenöffner.

    Let's see your toolbox.

There is most certainly risk. It is lower risk than alkaline, but I can assure you lithium batteries can and do leak. I had CR2450s leak in my Miller Digital Infinity welding helmet. The helmet lives in my climate controlled house, as all my expensive electronics do. I wish I had taken...

Milwaukee denies warranty claim because "tool split in half"

Milwaukee is mediocre tools with great marketing. Don't shoot the messenger, watch the Torque Test Channel for yourself.

    Bad position

That happened to a D cell Maglite I've had since the 90s. Took a hydraulic press to get it out. NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING THAT. Terrible idea. Dangerous. I was able to save the Maglite though. :ROFLMAO: Wild guess....Duracell?

Milwaukee denies warranty claim because "tool split in half"

You may be right, but the novelty of a $1.50 lunch at Costco proves strong.

My guess is Eklind customers will migrate to Bondhus. Quality, US made, reasonably priced tools

Eklind Is Closing Its IL Plant

I feel bad that 100+ Americans lost their jobs, most of which probably had nothing to do with the downfall of the company.

CRAZY VIM DBE ratcheting wrench price

I don't own any of this type or wrench, because I don't understand their usefulness. I get the long 0* offset box end. That makes sense for breaking stuck things free. I have a set of those and I don't use them often, but occasionally they come in handy. I don't get why you'd want to swing...
