Pliers & Diagonal Cutters - Klein vs. Channellock

oh yeah, and avoid the knipex lineman pliers too. Cutting regular 8/32 screws, my kleins have lasted years with no damage, knipex left notches in the cutting edges right away. For euro pliers it seems nws does a better heat treat to me

Craftsman USA 5 pc Wood Chisels $25

Narex are a huge step up, these craftsmans were pretty crappy from day one imo, maybe for going through nails and saving good chisels they could serve a purpose. If you are doing any precision woodworking, skip these, usa or not.

Extra long DBl Boxed End Ratcheting Wrenches

I believe they are same as ez red, mountain, Steelman and pretty much all of the others, tekton I see has the same but 6or instead of spline. I have the Steelman, prob shouldn't figure on this style as your only set, handy sometimes

Quality made, small, portable, hydraulic, floor jacks

I love a good 'merican tool as much as the next guy but no options led me to a little hf unit and mine works great. I would just return them until you get a good one and never be dumb enough to get under a car supported completely by it (should never do that anyway). No reason to pay double...

Do I need 15 gauge for baseboard?

I am a cabinet and millwork contractor and have installed miles of base, I use a 15 and nail into studs when doing it for someone. When doing my own houses I use my pops old trick, put a bead of adhesive caulk down the back and then tack it on with an 18 gauge. Theres way less holes to fill...

Festool "PRO 5 LTD" ETS 125 REQ Random Orbital Sander Deal

Oh, and Shane, since you seem to be a dealer, can we stack the 10% off a vac with the 50$ coupon we would get when buying the sander by putting it towards a vac purchased at the same time? Does that make sense?

Festool "PRO 5 LTD" ETS 125 REQ Random Orbital Sander Deal

Also, reservations about this sander to the side, festool sanders are one of their best products, they last forever and don't vibrate. My buddy is a painter and re-does tons of wood garage doors, he has a contract with a country club that never ends. His guys can burn out any makita, milwaukee...

Festool "PRO 5 LTD" ETS 125 REQ Random Orbital Sander Deal

I have a couple 6" festool sanders now, you can stick any paper to them but your holes won't line up for dust collection. Honestly, their sandpaper is so much better and lasts so much longer I don;t mind paying more for it. Deal is pretty tempting but only if you need a true finish sander...
