It was part of a locomotive shops bridge crane. We bought it from a scrap iron guy who scrapped out the shop before it was torn down. We've had it around thirty years or so. Oh, and we move it a fork truck when needed.

It's a 36" X 16.5". Weighs roughly 1,200 pounds.

Not exactly an anvil but you can beat on it all day long.

Had a couple tornados on the ground within 5 miles of us. Luckily didn't hit any towns and caused little damage. We did see Reid Timmer and his group from storm chasers in town. His Facebook page has a short video of one of the tornados forming.

Extra doors coming in handy. Tornados dropping left and right around here tonight. Another truck under a lean too in back and one more in the barn.

To bad it's closed/moved. They had rows and rows of restored and unrestored pumps of all kinds along with metal signs, lighted signs etc, etc. Just a really cool place.
