    Work bench rebuild

I was thinking of using the original boards. But they have holes all through them. The sentimental value is the over riding factor in this build... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Work bench rebuild

So I've moved into my late grandfathers old workshop and I'm in the process of getting everything... Back to scratch. I want to keep everything generally the same (I guess like putting muscle on. your skeleton is still the same) So I'm starting off with the bench he made. It's a little miss...

    GearWrench combination spanners

I had a look today, and to be honest I think they were alright. I do know they have off centre box ends. Even the ratcheting wrenches have slight imperfections with that. But these didn't seem too bad, I just don't want them breaking on me! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Good base welder

I haven't tig welded before but I've used oxy-acetylene (welding and cutting) gas less and gas mig, and I own an old (think it was my grandfathers) stick welder. I do a lot of steel fab but I haven't done any aluminium because my welder holds me back. I'm keen to get into aluminium...

    Good base welder

I plan on welding anything and everything, I'm looking to get into the fab trade and I think from what all of you've said it would be best to get a stick tig, mostly because stick does steel and tig does aluminium and both of them do their types of metal the best!

    Good base welder

Trying to select a welder (not sure if it should be TIG/STICK or just a MIG. What are some solid, relatively cheap welders? Has to be AUSTRALIAN Cheers
