R-13 in the walls and R-60 in the ceiling. Two mouse farts and the barn is heated to 50*. Moved the compressor to shed next to the barn and plumbed the barn. Love it.

When you move it, leave it in the pallet and use a hand cart. Take it off the pallet after you move it.

I can't go outside to take a leak since I'm surrounded by houses. So I Put a hose through the wall in a corner and hooked a big red funnel to it. Works like a charm.

I have the 6 hp 60 gal 2 cyl. Puma. I've never run out of air. Not to noisy. I'd buy another one if needed. It's 13 yrs old now.

Last year I used the sticky traps. Worked great. Untill I let it go for a couple of days. Checked it and found 4 feet. That's it, just feet. Alway's wondered what else his pals did to him before he was ate? Went back to regular traps. Now I just feed the local tom cat so it hangs out more.

If you go the used route, don't take their word for it that it works. Rig it up so it puts out heat before you invest any more time and money. Trust me.:mad:

Someone did that south of me about 20 yrs. ago. Still looks great today. It's even on a lake. You have to look twice to realize it's a house now.

Mine is 28x40x12. I studded the walls, put in R-13 already wrapped in plastic. R-60 in the ceiling, then put up osb on the walls and ceiling. Going to use fuel oil for heat this winter.

MDALE- It's a pole barn but I did stud the walls. OSB doesn't have to be painted, it's stronger than drywall and I do all of my welding outdoors.

I insulated my barn last winter. I put rolled R-13 on the walls with osb over that. R-60 in the ceiling with osb over that. Just had the ceiling painted and decided the walls didn't need it. When it was in the 90's with the doors closed, I had to put my t-shirt back on. Nice and cool.

Ihave a close circle of friends I loan too. Couple of them have the code to the garage. So far the neighbors haven't asked for any. At my old place I loaned a 4ft level to the guy across the street. A couple of day's later I was reading the paper on the front porch and here comes a little 3ft...

Probably the ZZ4 or the 383 G.M. crate motors. Actually I'll probably say screw it and stay with my 427. Nothing sounds like a big block. :bowdown:

1960 with a 427 from a '68 vette. I spun a bearing and I'm still trying to decide on going back to a small block or not. 10 miles to the gallon killed me last summer.
