vacumn the area very good to remove any loose concrete. mix up some epoxy liquids and pour it into the pitted area. take a dry wall trowel and try to self level it the best you can. if it is a little higher take a grinder and grind it smooth. you can add silica sand but i dont think it is a...

i would try denatured alcohol. or zyline. both things clean and evaproate fast. if you plan on using epoxy how are you going to prep the floor. if you grind it you should be fine with just grinding the spot.

urathane will also resist scratchs better then epoxy. i would recomend spending the extra money.

if you do some searching under the flooring are there is a guy that posted up about his clear coat after like 6 months in the sun. he has no yellowing. so there must be some UV inhibiter in it. epoxy should stick to epoxy if it quality stuff.
