1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted)

Re: 1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap & 1966 427 Project I have been wondering when you were going to paint that since you built it. It would have been in that shape in a few hours here in MS.

They might not be as gone as you think. I'm 42, and I was unaware the company was still operational at all.

You can give yourself all the grief you want, but that truck moving that fast off the line and leaving the other car in the dust like that is impressive. Well done sir. Well done.

That one is pretty sweet. I'd be willing to bet that you could talk to the local high school art teacher, supply the paint, and let some high schoolers paint it for free as some project for them.

Joe, I just went through your shop build and now this. I am very impressed with the speed you have gone through this building. I have to say, in the first few pages, I didn't have your vision. But now that you have opened up the back of the building I can "smell what you're stepping in", so to...

Mississippi is $30 / year for personalized plates. But, that is just for the personalized part. The tag cost is based on the sale value of the vehicle. When I got my used 2008 GMC 1500, in 2010 the tag was $450. That was with the $30 fire fighter tag.

Color me jealous. So, are they registering it as a '66 model, making it an antique, or as something else?

Well, that *****. Sorry to hear it. All our departments are county / tax funded and state supplemented. So, you pay for it, just not like that. And I have heard horror stories like you mentioned of those kind of departments letting buildings burn. Things like that make me wonder about what's...

Glad everything is OK, but DANG! Even our most po-dunk, back woods, county areas in Mississippi have at least volunteer coverage (which I am on one of those).
