I wouldn’t waste money on 1/4” impacts sockets. The chrome work fine. With that the only impact 1/4’s I own are swivel because they’re different then the chrome ones.

I wear them now when my hands are gonna get really dirty. When I did this in the 90’s for a living we had 1 guy who would wear gloves and we always gave him **** about it. Was just ahead of his time.

Most finger tips don’t get saved. They try to save the finger if it’s cut below the first knuckle though. For a first aid kit look at 5x9’s trauma pads and maybe a zip lock bag in case. Just make sure if you lop off a finger it’s not your wife’s favorite one..��

The 691 is the next generation to that. The 660 as you see has all drawers and the 690 has the 1 full width drawer. When the 661/691 came out the full width drawer was moved to the 661. I have a 661 that I got new in 1997. It’s a great box, just wish it was a little deeper.

Some people don’t know what the different color lock tight does. I’ve seen people use green on stuff because they think it’s all the same. Also with dissimilar metals a lot of stuff gets bonded together.

I wouldn’t even waste time or mess around. If it doesn’t come out by hitting it with a regular hammer I would just take the knuckle off and use a press.

I use cheap bits but brand new ones. Also if you can use some heat and pB blaster before trying to get them off. Worst case if you can weld a nut to the top of the broken bolt and try getting it out that way

Find a machine shop and have them fix it.
