    Hose reel recommendation

I highly recommend these Coilhose Pnuematics quick disconnects. No strength required which I appreciate the older I get. I installed them before the hose reels in case of a problem rather than a ball valve. And also on every reel. They work great so far...

Looking for a Good Quality Water Hose Reel

I recently purchased an Eley hose reel. Probably one of the highest quality products I've ever purchased in my life. Even the packaging and instructions were amazing. You can tell they take great pride in their product...

    Truck Shop Ideas...

I totally agree, we're running 20+ trucks doing ready mix concrete and sand & gravel. Our pit is used daily for service and repairs. We put angle iron around the perimeter of the pit opening so when your jacking up a loaded truck it protects and reinforces the edge. And the stairs on both ends...

    Concrete failing around cut lines.

A pic of backer rod for the OP to see. I modified this electrical box extension to place the backer rod at my desired depth. Worked great and made the backer rod install go really fast. https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=748825&stc=1&d=1521694045

    Inexpensive plate compactor?

Here's my 62x 80 and over on the right you can barely see the little HF plate compactor. The predator engine starts on the first pull every time and does a fine job. In my opinion the right crushed rock with the right amount of fines, the proper moisture content and time are just as important...

How big would this garage/building need to be?

I had similar wants and needs as you so I decided to break mine up into two different areas sorta like John in OH recommended but under the same roof. My overall dimensions are 62' x 80' x 16' with a car storage area on one side being 22' x 80' and the main shop area 40' x 80' on the other side...

    Hot tub issue

My Viking leaked at the topside control panel. Of course it only leaked when I overfilled it and two were in it. The topside control got to the point where I couldn't read it anymore so I ordered a new one thinking it would be my chance to make sure the seal was good this time . The new control...

    Personalized my new-New Age cabinets

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. The overall dimensions are 62'x80'x16' The car storage area is 22'x80' and the main shop is 40'x80'. The full length interior wall with the garage doors separates the two areas. The beam you see in the car storage area is for the loft. Getting stairs from...

    Alternative to drywall?

I used 4x8 sheets of 3/8"LP soffit material. Where it's pre-primed it took paint really nice and I caulked the seems so it's really hard to tell one sheet from another. If I need to fill a hole I'll just caulk it and touch up with paint. Early on I wasn't sure which direction I was going for the...
