Rubber Mats vs. Race Deck - Tire Marks?

Nice Garage but I would look at a PVC Garage floor. Not true with all manufacturers about smell and excessive expanding. Statements that are coming from a manufacturer should always be taken with a grain of salt when it comes to competition. I was a Gladiator dealers as I see you have in your...

Buying a house - I need a functional good looking floor- advice?

Thelews has a nice floor. But I would stay with good epoxy vs the quartz floor. I have seen many floor crack when a hammer is dropped. But they are not slippery and they look great but not for dropping stuff on!

Cover for working garage floor (currently painted)

Some good advice. I would stay away from any tile product you will not be happy in the long run. You are right...preparation is going to be key. Get all old coating off first. I would not go with a big box retail product. Fred at Alpha has good advice. This is his sweet spot!

    floor mats?

Wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole. They stay wet under them at all time. Need to have air floor. Question would be what are you looking for? protection against oil, design, quick install, custom install. Think about those questions first. I would check out epoxy, polyaspartic, tile or the...

    hey guys flooring question

Good Flooring choice is a Norsk flexible PVC floor. They are 18 x 18" tiles that are 0.25" thick and are more rubber like. Where as a Polypropylene tile floor will make a hollow sound when you walk on them. Both are strong.

    G-Floor ?? (Sam's Club)

NW Ohio guy, I used the same for my 6' x 12' trailer and it worked OK. I had to glue down and when I moved some heavy stuff in the summer it still tended to move some. For the price not bad. But I switched to a interlocking PVC based product and it worked much better for me. Sam's used to have a...

    rustoleum pro

Product Change all the time so the Rustoleum may be getting better but my experience has shown there are better products. Regardless of that I would NEVER etch the floor I would only diamond grind it. You can now rent a great diamond grinder at all the home depot rental centers. That will always...

    need info please

Just because you have moisture you do not need a vented tile floor, but make sure the tile allows airflow underneath it if that is what you end up using. I think some of replies here have been smelling there coating fumes too long!:lol_hitti

    My epoxy lessons learned

Plywood and screws make excellent spike shoes. Duct tape them to your feet and you are good to go. I wasted a couple hours trying to find used golf shoes in thrift stores. Plywood and short screws is all you need. What ever works is great but I use Garden Spikes that I find for $9.95 and...

    rustoleum pro

First there are many good people on this board that have detailed explanations on floor coatings like Wolverine. But first out of the gate I would never use Rustoleum! Hopefully you can return it. Second is your floor able to hold an epoxy or polyurea product? What is the condition of the floor...

I use a 4 output battery tender for my 4 batteries from my boats. What I did that worked really well is get a new GearLoft Shelf from Gladiator. This is a awesome self that holds 150 pounds of weight and looks good. size is 45" inches wide and 20" deep. I mounted the tender on the wall next to...
