Impact Driver - Necessity or Time Saver?

Are you talking about an impact driver, or an impact wrench? They're two different tools, used for two different things, but both are useful depending on what you're wanting to do. For cars I think an impact wrench would be more useful than an impact driver. An impact wrench is extremely handy...

    Amazon Warehouse Deals

It says "Roll of 175" not "175 Rolls" so it's going to be a single roll with 175 sheets of sandpaper.

    Restoring Fiberglass Ladder.

If it's structural damage then buy a new one. If it's just finish damage then slap some resin on it and call it good.

Having the right tool for the job is nice

They come in the tiniest case that Sears could have possibly made. So I got this bag off Amazon to keep them, because there's no way in hell I'd ever be able to get those cables back into their case once they came out. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0146WQP3I/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Having the right tool for the job is nice

These are the ones I bought, and they're worth every penny. http://www.sears.com/diehard-platinum-20ft-450a-4-gauge-booster-cable/p-02871304000P?plpSellerId=Sears&prdNo=3&blockNo=3&blockType=G3 Now that I think about it, I did the same thing at work one time. Someone's car was dead, they had...

Having the right tool for the job is nice

Isn't it such a nice feeling when you need a specific tool and not only do you have it, but you know right where it is? Not so much working inside the garage-related, but the other day I was pumping gas when I noticed two cars parked with their noses together and a cheap pair of junky jumper...

Disappointed Ebay order empty box arrived

What does the package weight on the label say? That will be a big clue as to whether the seller shipped an empty box or the item got stolen along the way.

    Anyone use jet.com?

I ordered from them once because they were the cheapest option when I shopped around for something. Don't remember what it was, but I didn't have any issues or complaints, so they're safe to order from.

    Sunex vs Grey Pneumatic

If you buy them from JB Tool Sales then JB themselves will warranty GP sockets if you buy them from JB, even though JB isn't an authorized dealer. It's why one of the reasons I bought my GP sockets from them. Though I do wish they had the size stamped on the socket. But, I'm just a shade tree...

Safety reminder for you auto guys that use lifts..

Hard to say exactly what happened. At first it looked like the arm buckled, but after watching it a few more times the arm might have moved laterally towards the camera rather than bent down to the ground. But I too noticed that it doesn't appear to have a pad on it, and I bet the pad got...

    Kids tools

I'm pretty sure mom still has the one I remember, I think it was her's and not dad's, but it was like 15-20 years ago, so I'm not entirely sure. Definitely was a neat little tool for a young kid though.

Pretty sure the one I remember was made out of brass as well, definitely had the right color, presuming my memory serves correctly.

    Kids tools

I don't know if you can still find them, but one of the coolest tools I remember getting my hands on when I was younger was a little hammer, where you could unscrew the head and there was a flat headed screwdriver underneath. Maybe your grandson might like cool little two in one tools like that...

    HF Pro Breaker Bar

Anybody have any guesses as to how the rubber handle will hold up being in a stupidly hot car in 110* outside heat? Would like to get one to keep in my car so I don't have to use the tiny and crappy wrench that comes with the car if I ever need to break lug nuts loose when I change a tire on the...

White Industries 6R freon recovery machine

It really depends on how much use you'll get out of it, or how much enjoyment you'll get out of having an expensive pro machine sitting there gathering dust. If you'll get enough use/enjoyment out of it to offset the cost, then go for it. However, if it will come to be a purchase you regret...
